Had the most awesome time at the 50's 50th birthday party. It was absolutely awesome. The food was great and the music was well sorted. MmmMMmmM they had lasagne there... WOW, this man sure can cook. Thanks Shayne, the food was awesome.
Let me tell you about the cupcakes we baked. We had soo much fun. We baked untill 1h30 in the morning for the 50th party. As always, the first lot came out a flop.... never happens, ja right LOL
Livia, Chrissy and I made awesome biscuits. We tested out Chrissy's NEW Russell Hobbs cookie cutter. People, people, people... what a handy little tool it is. This is one of those things where you can say: if you got a cookie cutter, you dont need a man. Oh, and when you do open this magnificent toy, dont forget to ensure that there's a manual with it.... Dont leave the manual next to your moms glasses LOL. The cookie cutter is an absolute thrill to have around the house and small catering businesses and is very user friendly, Thank goodness for that. I think we'd still be baking biscuits.
My hubby played action cricket and Carl went with to watch. This was a real "ladies evening". We were close to finish when the men came home... Thank goodness for that. All they wanted to do was taste...Tee hee! They were tipsy and had the munchies and nothing like the aroma of some freshly baked cupcakes and cookie to get the senses going! Tee hee.......
Back to the party... our cupcakes were a total hit by all. Young and Old enjoyed the different sizes and flavours. Delicious chocolate and strawberry with sugar crystals sprayed on them and beautiful other decorative tastings.
Special thanks to Livia and Chrissy for making my evening so awesome. And a SPECIAL SPECIAL thanks to an AWESOME FUN WEIRD LOVING FRIEND..... Livia Taylor... I dont think I have ever laughed so much in my entire life...
